Profound Insight Vipashyana Meditation Pith Advice

Over the course of this weekend, using a text by the revered master, Ju Mipham Rinpoche, Khentrul Lodrö T’hayé Rinpoche will teach on the profound advice for understanding the abiding nature of our mind through direct experience, the key to the Mahamudra-Dzogchen approaches.
Just as it is said, ‘A hundred dharmas looking at it from a distance are nothing compared to the dharma of looking at it itself.’ Whether the mind is thinking or still, it is never separate from its natural state, buddha nature. Since this is its true nature, the profound insight that recognizes it as such synthesizes a hundred key points of practice into one.
Due to this profound topic, Rinpoche requests full live attendance for all sessions to participate in these teachings.
COST:
The suggested offering for this retreat $120 ($60 per day) to cover the cost of the venue and transportation for Khentrul Rinpoche and his translator. No will be turned away for lack of funds.
GENERAL INFO:
The teachings start promptly at 10am (morning) and 2pm (afternoon) on both days.
As with most teachings, it is recommended you bring a way to take notes.
Seating will be in chairs—No cushions are allowed due to space limitations.
Rinpoche strongly requests attendance for the full 2 days so that the teaching is understood clearly and fully.
WHO CAN ATTEND:
This teaching is open to anyone—whether they’ve had previous Buddhist teachings or not. However, only those who are registered can attend due to space limitations.
LUNCH:
You can bring your own lunch or go somewhere nearby to eat in the break. For those who wish, you can have lunch at the hotel restaurant or request a lunch buffet from the hotel.
PARKING:
The back part of the hotel has a whole parking garage that belongs to it. Arrive early enough to park, find the conference room, and settle in before the teachings start.
SPACE IS LIMITED:
Each adult must fill out this registration form individually, as we need an accurate head count. Space is strictly limited and registration will close when the capacity is met.
