This treatise, composed by the omniscient Longchen Rabjam, is based on a four-stage approach to the Buddha’s teachings: Turn your mind toward the dharma. Turn the dharma into the path. Dispel confusion through the path. Transform confused appearances and perceptions into the wisdom of timeless awareness.
It is my hope that those of you studying with me will study these teachings in full and receive the entire transmission. In this way, you will generate the wisdom that arises from hearing the complete teaching. This text covers the entire scope of the path, from the sutras through the tantras. It provides an overview of all the stages of practice so that we can understand the path as a whole.
